My friend and fellow vocal percussionist Yuri Lane is the subject of a large and wonderful article in this week's SF Weekly. I get a brief mention (thanks, Yuri!). Y and I have been huddling in secret, working on an all-beatbox crew a la the Invisibl Skratch Piklz.
 
Yuri's one-man show Soundtrack City, an all-beatbox trip through San Francisco, concludes its run this Saturday at Spanganga in the Mission. Check it out -- you won't be disappointed.
